What versions of dbz dvds do you have?

The singles are really the only way to get that real nostalgic feeling. The bad Drummond imitation Vegeta and all. I wish that the "Captain Ginyu Saga" DVDs were organized better because they're just like the Saiyan Conflict and Namek Saga DVDs (opening and closing are kind of separate). But, I...

What versions of dbz dvds do you have?

I've been a massive collector, so I have pretty much them all. For Dragon Ball, I have: - Trimark release - the singles - blue bricks - Dragon Box. I wanted the Selecta Vision or AB Groupe Blu-rays, but haven't gotten either yet. For Z, I have: - Pioneer release of the Saiyan Conflict and...

    Z Store

At some point, Funimation started directly promoting their releases on Right Stuf. I guess that's where the majority of their sales came from and they didn't see a reason to keep the Z Store running. I'm sure they saved some money by closing it down.

    How The Fandom Has Evolved

That's fair. Though, that's what I'm into. I think that my love for the series extends beyond its four corners. I do like a good music discussion. I can get that some people feel that the Kanzenshuu crew gives off a bit of a "holier than thou" vibe. And while I think we've all been guilty of...

Which DB invention would imrprove the world the most?

I agree with the capsules. The time machine is just asking for trouble.

    Best Vegeta quote

No. He isn't hindered by Funimation's bad writing in the manga... or anywhere else.

    DAMN IT

I think that the Ocean cast was always better. Legend has it that the Westwood dub (from the "Trunks Saga" and onward) had terrible directing and production. It was all very rushed, recorded out of order (so the actors didn't really know qhat they were reacting to), etc. I always felt that the...

    Bruce Faulconer's DBZ Tracks?

Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury had a soundtrack based on the Faulconer score, but the PS2/3 games had original tracks by Kenji Yamamoto until the whole plagiarism thing happened. I'm actually curious what the soundtrack was like for those two GBA games outside the US.

    Bruce Faulconer's DBZ Tracks?

Okay, I went through the 8 CDs that were released with the Bruce Faulconer score (not counting the android theme remix CD that had 2 tracks or whatever). Here's the full list of the ones I like: So, basically, I like 26 tracks out of 282. I like less than 10% of the music... And this is not...

    How The Fandom Has Evolved

I think that Dragon Ball Z's move from syndication onto Cartoon Network (via the Toonami block) created a lot of casual fans. Keep in mind that up to that point, most fans in the US (and likely other English-speaking countries, but I wouldn't know) only knew what they saw on TV. The internet was...

    Bruce Faulconer's DBZ Tracks?

lol No. Cars... Or on a crappy little digital screen, but it was there, by golly!

    Bruce Faulconer's DBZ Tracks?

How far back are we going with this "track 1, track 2" thing? Tracks have been displaying names on CD players for like 2 decades already. Actually, iPods were a thing since 2001... I'll provide a comprehensive list of my favorite tracks at some point. I think a lot of the music was okay...

    Stephanie Nadolny

I mean, they were better. Her portrayal of Gohan was even better in the first Budokai game. Nothing crazy wrong about the performance. But every yelling or crying scene is torture on the ears.

    Stephanie Nadolny

I thought her Gohan was horrible. Her kid Goku was better--she had more experience by the time she did Dragon Ball and GT. I'm pretty neutral on her altogether. I think Colleen Clickenbeard did a good job for Gohan. I will always think that Saffron Henderson did it perfectly.

Does saiyan armour give any defensive boost? How does it work? Why did 530,000 Freeza wear saiyan armour?

Of course it adds something. Originally, only Freeza and a select few of his men were ridiculously powerful (well, compared to where the series would go very quickly). I'm sure the armor came in very useful to the Saiyana as they were when they would invade other planets. I'm sure the armor did...

    Yajirobe In The Vegeta Saga

It's there. According to Google Translate (surprisingly a lot better than the gibberish it used to spew out when you translate from Japanese), Yajirobe says: I'm thankful for at least knowing how to read Hiragana and Katakana (even though I find myself confusing つ and っ ALL the time). Wish I...

Is Farmer the only non-villain who got left unrevived?

The farmer was killed just a little more than a year before that wish is made, which prevents him from being revived. Unless I'm mistaken on my timeline.

Which Character Has The Strangest Looking Hair?

To me, it's clearly Super Saiyan 4 Goku. I even remember there being a lot of inconsistency with his hair in GT just because it was so all over the place that it was drawn in different ways. Gohan's hair from the Super Hero arc is also horrible. I don't know why anybody felt the need to mess...

In real life, how much time would Roshi spend in jail if he were convicted for all the inappropriate things he's done?

Yes, his intention was bad, but for the purposes of "how much time" he'd get, he did not, in fact, touch an underaged human. Much like if I wanted to steal a balloon, but it happens to be free balloon day, I did not, in fact, steal a balloon.
