Why was he put on probation?

Pretty sure one of the staff made it so that new users and those who post little are put on Probation automatically due to the high amount of bot accounts we've had lately.

I checked the ACP and as far as I can tell that isn't true. I've noticed several newly registered accounts on probation with no staff editing their group. Seemed to be a glitch in the usergroup but I believe it's fixed now.
