My vast collection of comics books demands that I side with American comics. Although from what I know of manga it seems like are able to tell a better story.

The one downfall of comics is the shared universe idea. It creates a lot of crossovers and new titles. Manga seems a bit more streamlimed, if I may say so. One long story as opposed to a web of tales.
