I'd probably give it to Rambo all things considered. He's got far more movies to draw from to consider all the skills he could implement. I think he comes across as far more resourceful and could make use of a modern setting better than Kyle since he lives in this world and has better familiarity. That and he has jungle survival training whereas Reese seems more suited for urban warfare.

Kyle Reece was Sarah Connor (waitress) level. Sarah Connor (Mossad training) level smokes Reece and even she gets one shot (perhaps literally) by Rambo.

Rambo vs T-800 is actually a fair fight all things considered. I actually have Rambo winning.
