This is a good idea. I will certainly consider it.

My mindset is that I want the prize to go to someone that has actually contributed/been active on the board.

Honestly Flame Alchemist the fact you're doing this with your own money is pretty admirable of you. Maybe next time with say, 200 members we could all pitch in a dollar or so somehow and make the next prize (and the 100th member can be included in that giveaway). Or even member 150, for a pokemon themed thing.
