Since a number of our members seem to be confused, are we not saying BoZ numbers are absolute dog crap?

These numbers are not workable, not if you intend on respecting early Dragonball's character statements. Is this not the norm anymore?

I have long since found the solution...
-Farmer is 0.05 and was misread as 5 by Raditz.
-Roshi was 13.9 and misread as 139 by Bulma.
-BOZ Goku/Piccolo were way above 400s, which were their suppressed levels.

I think Scouters numbers are not linear when they are less than 293.

From 293 onwards, they are already linear.

And why would that be? Why would they be linear from 300 to 530,000 but below 300 they don't work good? Where's the evidence?

Because the power levels in DB and BoZ are incredibly crushed, logically in BoZ, Goku and Piccolo are many tens of times stronger than Tenshinhan, Tenshinhan is tremendously superior to Piccolo Daimao. Clearly Goku is much more than three times as powerful as Roshi.

From 300 onwards, it seems to work linearly, except for a few exceptions, for example, Goku (60,000) seems to be more than twice as powerful as the Ginyu individually.

The BoZ levels suck, I agree. My only point of contention is if you intend to scale the rest of DBZ’s levels, Goku’s and Piccolo’s against Raditz can’t be ignored. That’s where DBZ’s scaling starts.

So did King Piccolo use less than half his power against Goku?
I theorize he was referring to effort (chi suppression hadn't been introduced yet anyway). He used 45% of his power to stomp Goku with a 1.2x-1.25x advantage, but the chi percentage he used to tank the KHH attack was much larger.

So where is Kami then and King Piccolo?

Ok show me how strong King Piccolo and Goku are then. Even with this backwards interpretation it still won't work.
