In my reality, Kienzan/Destructo Disk (whatever you guys like best) will cut pretty much anything as far as I know.

Also Vegeta and Nappas adventures on the way towards Earth. I always loved that episode growing up, and it works as a nice little one shot story. They arrive on a planet, get captured, and brought before the evil king.

Vegeta and Nappa end up defeating the king, his beast and his minions. They save an enslaved people and free a princess. It's just like Gladiator or Ben Hur!

Except then they murder everybody.

The Makyo Star arc was cool. Showed that the Earth can be defended without Goku and foreshadowed Gohan as the hero of the next arc.
