What is the gap you have for them?

Kuririn vs Initial Jr., and Kuririn vs Powered Up Jr.?

Mhh, it's weird Piccolo would make such a big deal about such a small power up but makes sense gap wise since Kuririn can still take hits and surprise Piccolo. It definitely was a lot less of a stomp than Tao vs Tenshinhan, or even Shen vs Yamcha before Yamcha used the Sokidan.

Sounds like a classic 1.1x gap example. Kuririn is outclassed but still fights a bit. Maybe 1.2x at most, but I think 1.2x fits better for post power up, since even then Kuririn could still rebound. That scene when he bounces off with his eye barely open is so cool.

Kuririn: 180
Initial Piccolo Jr: 200
Serious Piccolo Jr: 216-225+

Piccolo’s power up could easily be higher than this, this is just the bare minimum. He doesn’t seem to power up against Shen, so maybe he’s near 300 here.

By the way, I like to imagine Initial Piccolo Jr = FP Piccolo Daimao. So this fight is like what Kuririn vs PD would be like, and when Piccolo says dominating the world won’t be easy, it’s because even his father would be struggling with Kuririn.

Piccolo Daimao = 1

Krilin (TB23) = 0.97

Piccolo (Initial vs Krilin) = 1.1

Piccolo (FP vs Krilin) = 1.32

Initially it was really close. Krillin was keeping up with Piccolo pretty easily and got the better of him in an exchange. Piccolo also got in an attack on Krillin, but by all accounts it was near equal.

Powered up Piccolo is what I'd imagine a 1.2-1.25x gap would be. Piccolo was also "holding back" so that he wouldn't kill Krillin, yet still did devastating damage in 3 attacks.
