Raftel

Perhaps one of the more ambiguous things in One Piece.

How do you think Raftel will be reached? Why do you think it will be so hard to find?

I believe that Raftel is probably very closely related to the Ancient Civilization - perhaps it was the Ancient Civilization itself. The Gorosei didn't let Clover speak the name of the Ancient Civilization, so it's probably still in existence in present time. In that case, it would make sense that reaching Raftel would be incredibly difficult, as the World Government has probably taken some kind of precaution in that regard.

So if that were the case, would that not imply that they are aware of One Piece's existence on Raftel?

The Gorosei, probably, probably not. While I do think the difficulty in reaching Raftel might be related to them somehow, I doubt they're involved with it directly right now, if that makes. I haven't given the theory too much thought though.
