I recall having discussions about this years ago but I’d like to bring it up again. How are we explaining any of this? Even directly after the senzu bean, Vegeta was getting physically overpowered by SSJ Black. How is this even possible? Black went on to have another Zenkai and then the SSJ Rose form on top of that, and SSJB (bursts) Vegeta was able to dominate SSJR Black. How could SSJB Vegeta have been that weak in comparison to his burst power when he just ate a senzu bean?

He trained in the ROSAT, obviously he got stronger. Even in SSJG Vegeta was doing better against Rose Black then he previously did in Blue.

I think SSB just continously drops in power at a rapid pace. Toyo just has the writing talent of a grade schooler which is why it's needlessly convoluted.
PSSJB's whole existence is the epitome of bad writing. Toyo can't stay consistent with much of anything.

I think they explained that the initial burst of SSJB power is higher than the proceeding standard level. Goku Black surpassed the lower sustained SSJB level but not the burst or PSSJB level.

It's a dumb addition and Toyo should have taken the anime route by introducing Kaio-Ken blue earlier. And actually making it red on blue.

His Blue form didn't seem to be any stronger than Goku's after the RoSaT though. All Goku did was practice the Mafuba and he still seemed to be equal with Vegeta.

Blue bursts > Normal Blue even before the stamina drop

SSJ Black vs Blue Vegeta is weird though. The fight start off screen and when it turns back it’s been long enough for Vegeta to get tired again.

Agreed, but that much of a difference seems absurd. Vegeta went from getting dominated by a much weaker SSJ Black to dominating a stronger SSJR Black. It's like he was only able to output 10% of Blue's power which is ~ SSJ level from the U6 tournament.

It’s really such a stupid concept. If Blue is that bad what’s the point of it. It’s so so stupid. My goodness.

Vegeta could hurt Black enough to give him another zenkai. I think SSJB Vegeta ~ SSJ Black and SSJR is probably just 1.33x that.

Black beat the shit out of him in their first exchange. At best Vegeta is a distant rival of Black.

How the fuck is Blue only 10x stronger than SSJ.
Yeah the manga makes things far too tight. The anime was actually better in this sense. It felt like SSJG was truly a transformation worthy of a god, and Blue was even better than that. The manga treats them as mild power ups and nothing more.

Yeah especially considering:

SSJB >> SSJG >> SSJ2 Vegeta > SSJ Black >> Base Black (Post Trunks) > Base Black (Initial) >> SSJ3 Goku

How do you fit Blue being 10x SSJ with all these gaps?

If you look at the Toppo fight, the way they potrayed SSG makes it seem like a lot more than just a mere double increase or something.

That could explain why SSJG Goku was stronger than drained SSJB Vegeta who had dropped to less than 10% SSJB power. It's the lower "sustained" SSJB level that SSJG and drained SSJB Vegeta are being compared to.

Hit was fooling around with Goku the whole time and even asked him to just transform already. 10% SSJB is at least > SSJ, no way they're around the same.

Because of SSJB fatigue. Post senzu they fight off screen and both are battered.
