I don’t remember exactly where I would grind at in this game but I know it was against Taurus and Miltanks since they give off pretty good XP.

Yea there's an area near the Safari Zone where there are lvl 35 Miltank, Fearow, etc. That and Victory Road seem to be the best.

Did any of your Pokemon have Ice Beam? It should oneshot his Dragonite as long as they're levelled up enough to outspeed or endure it.

Kingdra has it. It one shotted the first two Dragonite but was outsped by the last. It was only level 46.

Yeah sounds like it would've been a piece of cake if you just went into every battle with all 6. I always buy more revives than I need, although I try to not to use them mid battle if I can help it.

I never buy shit all throughout the game until the E4 and buy a bunch of revives and full restores. That’s like day one Pokémon knowledge.

I was actually soft resetting to get a decent nature. Probably tried 15 times and then got the shiny. Insane luck.

Lucky as heck. Tried like 400 SRs for Torchic
