I underestimated him because I trusted the words of one of the Hi Shin Unit members saying that Shoumou was on par with Moubu, and yet he got 1-shotted by Ouki.

You can't trust dialogue sometimes in Kingdom unlike other series, lol.

At least in terms of brute strength, Moubu > Ouki. Although I think Ouki would defeat him during that arc.

Ouki seemed to be presented as more impressive when he finally got serious. Moubu was mostly taking out thugs. I'd agree that Ouki would beat him even if slightly disadvantaged in strength.

Were you surprised by Riboku being the mastermind behind the whole campaign?

Yeah definitely. He came across as a nobody when he was introduced. Now he's somehow the prime minister?

Just in case your confused about the classifications, Great General is the pinnacle of military. However, the Great Generals who stand out from the rest in terms of talent are members of a prestigious system.

For Qin, it is the Six Great Generals

For Zhao, it is known as the Three Great Heavens.

Yes I was confused about him being the PM along with a Great General. Is PM not above the Generals?

I think the Prime Minister handles state politics, while his Great General status allows him to directly control the military and lead armies. Maybe you'll understand it the more you'll read lol.

I wasn't sure. He seems very old and is held in high regard. I figured he was better in the past.

I just finished the war. Shin was made 1000 man commander officially and had to take Ten as his strategist.

What did you think of the war?

It was good. Definitely not as good as the Zhao war imo. Renpa and Rinko were decent enemies but the rest of his army lacked interesting characters.
